medfein GmbH was founded in 2002 by Hans-Jürgen Kreibich as managing partner and is an expert in medical products. Already at the time of its foundation, it was the goal to also bring its own medical products onto the market. A certified quality management system was a first step in this direction. Since January 2005, medfein GmbH has been certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485.
Our philosophy
Responsibility and fairness are the basis of our entrepreneurial actions – towards customers, sales partners, suppliers and employees. Our customers can rely on high-quality and reliable products as well as on delivery punctuality, stable prices and sales concepts on which the respective partner can rely on in the long term. As an owner-managed company, we are characterised by quick decisions and maximum flexibility.
Urological line
In the first quarter of 2003, medfein began building the urological line with a focus on transurethral and suprapubic bladder catheters. After successful testing, the market launch took place in March 2003. These commercial products were replaced in 2005 by their own medfein products, for which the company received the necessary CE certifications. The main focus here is on fully silicone catheters with integrated balloon, in various sizes and lengths. In 2006 the hydrophilic coated catheters and catheter sets for intermittent self-catheterism (ISC) followed and in 2009 the resection electrodes for transurethral resection (TUR).
Ports and port cannulas
Since its inception, medfein has been selling port systems and port cannulas with a focus on titanium ports. For this type of long-term implants, titanium has proven itself with its excellent biocompatible properties.
Urology Congresses
Since 2015, medfein has regularly exhibited at regional, German and European Urology Congresses. Since then, archer Medfenia has been a constant companion at the conventions. She invites congress visitors to a virtual archery tournament at the medfein stand. medfein praises a donation of money for the first three places as a prize that benefits charitable organisations.
